Make plans to come out to the Magoffin County Health Department on July 29th for a Free and Fun Back to School Health Fair!

Bring the kids to enjoy the wet inflatables and receive back to school items.

We have lots of vendors setting up for free health screenings for adults, education, lunch and giveaways!

The Magoffin County Girl Scout troop is dedicated to raising funds for badges and community service initiatives. As a non-profit organization, we adhere to the GSUSA's guidelines, which prohibit soliciting direct handouts from the community. Instead, our girls have developed entrepreneurial skills, enabling them to earn funds through their own efforts. We appreciate the community's support and recognition of our endeavors. Our lemonade stand, now in its third year, has been a resounding success, thanks to the encouragement of our supporters. This initiative, which began as a fun activity, has grown exponentially and will continue to do so. Despite the heat, our girls thoroughly enjoyed operating their business at the Fourth of July event, and we look forward to seeing you at Founders Day. We extend our gratitude for the community's ongoing support and appreciation of the Girl Scouts.

We are honored to collaborate with such wonderful organizations for the betterment of our youth. Please join us for a delightful evening, offered free of charge to our friends and neighbors in the community we hold dear. This partnership showcases one of the ways the GS organization contributes to the community, similar to our partnering organizations. Our youth are the future!

‼️Due to the weather forecasted for this evening, we have made the tough decision to cancel our lemonade booth for tonight. This is a hard decision but our setup is not rain/storm friendly. We do have plans to be setup for the Fourth of July events next weekend‼️

A trip to Malibu Jacks to end another GS year. Seeing them smile and have fun is the greatest reward. Supporting our troop through purchases such as cookies, lemonade, or other items enables these girls to give back and participate in adventures together. They have all worked diligently this past year and deserved this day to have some fun. We are missing some girls due to prior engagements.
