Join us this Saturday, July 25th at the Missing 40 Trail from 10am-12pm to continue working on our rock steps and rock crushing! Plan for multiple river crossings and please bring work gloves and plenty of water to stay hydrated.

If you plan to show up after 10am, email [email protected] so that we can send you coordinates to where we will be working.

This workday will be rescheduled if it is raining.

Henry's Nature Center (HNC) is officially open!!

Thank you so much to all who worked on Henry's over many years, to those who poured love into the gardens and trails, and to all who came out to celebrate the opening today! We had incredible speakers who helped tell the story of how Henry's came to be, celebrated our hardworking volunteers, and shared plans to come.

Join SCLT for the opening of Henry's Nature Center this Thursday, July 16th!

The opening will start at 9am and will include local speakers, a ribbon cutting, and an optional guided hike at 10am.

So many incredible people helped work on this over many years, so come celebrate their dedication and the opening of a new recreational area in Saluda! Hope to see you there!

Check out the After School Hikes we have scheduled for the rest of the summer! These are hikes geared towards kids, but all are welcome.

Hangout with us at Henry's Nature Center next Thursday 7/16 for a hike at 10am during the official opening of the Nature Center!

Our final hike of the summer will be on 8/20 at 3pm to see a waterfall that isn't often accessible to the public. RSVP for the address!

Join us at the Missing 40 Trail this Saturday 6/20 and next Saturday 2/17 from 9am-12pm for trail work days!

All are welcome! Some priorities are completing one set of rock steps, doing some rock crushing, and corridor clearing. We also need a new trailhead sign out there if anyone wants to take on that project.

This time of year is a busy time for wildlife! Bees and other critters are active so dress appropriately, stay aware of where you're stepping/cutting, and bring what you need to stay safe out there! As always with the Missing 40, prepare for river crossings.
