Grid Zine Fest

Grid Zine Fest We're a zine fest in Salt Lake City, Utah. Join us for our third annual fest April 13, 2019. Table registration opens December 1.

Grid is a zine and comix fest in Salt Lake City that hosts zine-related events, workshops, readings culminating in our annual zine fest in April of each year. We want to bring together folks from all across the city and state (and beyond!) to highlight the diversity of ideas and experiences of zine makers, and to provide a space for this to happen.

This info table will also have foam earbuds and masks available! Artists will have work displayed at their tables, which you can ask to touch and flip through. Most artists accept cash or digital payments (ie venmo or cashapp for their artwork. Many artists are open to trade their artwork for art you may have brought to trade! Some artists will also have art/content that is for mature audiences.” 4- Boone sits behind a table while talking to Ziggy. Ziggy is standing in front of the table, using a cane for support. Two other characters, 2 brown and tan mice, talk in the background. The text above says “PATHWAYS. Pathways in the venue will be wide and easily accessed with mobility aids, which will allow easy access to artists' tables that are accessible from a wheelchair height. There may be some slight crowding around certain tables.” IMAGE DESCRIPTION CONTINUED IN COMMENTS.

Thing are bigger, better, and weirder than they have ever been here at Grid and we figured some FAQs were in order. Also, like last year Meta won’t help us advertise but YOU can! Tell your friends and help us get the word out about the best lil zine fest in the mountain west!

Not to mention TWO OTHER EVENTS you should come out to, and a risoprint poster ASRM 🖨️ The way we see it, if you cannot see joy in the world around you, it’s time to make some.

Got questions about the fest we didn’t cover? Let us know in the comments!

Last year, our community put together the Horror Survival Guide and Guide to Calling Your Reps, and made the files free to print at milestogoguides.itch.io! A year later, these guides are as relevant as ever, and we’re sharing them here for anyone feeling lost or disheartened.

“At the end of the day, if all else fails, you can be kind. You can be kind to the people around you. You can be kind to yourself.
You stand against people who have committed themselves to being mean and cruel and selfish. To them, kindness is alien, unfathomable, and that’s why they don’t see it coming back for another round.
Stay in the ring.”

REGISTRATION IS OPEN! Salt Lake City’s Grid Zine Fest is TWO DAYS this year, March 28 & 29, 2026 at the beautiful

To make space for all the artists we can, tablers can pick their preferred day- but that also means each day is a totally different fest!

Head to gridzinefest.org or the link in bio to register!

YOU ASKED AND WE DID IT. Registration opens December 15, 2025 at noon! And by “asked” we mean politely wondered when we would actually open registration, and by “we did it” we mean stopped talking about the Mountain Goats and Baja Blast pies long enough to get registration finalized and ready to go!

This year’s fest is March 28 &29, 2026 at - Saturday AND Sunday so things will be a little different! To make room for everyone we are only letting tablers pick ONE day. Which means each day is gonna be an entirely different fest and we can accommodate more artists than ever. LFG, friends.
