We are excited to announce Austri Biddinger and Jake Galovich as the new Co-Directors of the Miss Utah’s Teen Program and Associate Directors of the Miss Utah Program!✨💫

Austri’s Miss America journey began in 2017, and the scholarships she earned helped her to graduate with a B.A. in Communications from UVU. She joined the Miss Utah’s Teen board in 2023 and has served as Choreographer and a member of the production team, helping create a meaningful experience for contestants both on and off the stage.

Jake first became involved with Miss Utah’s Teen as a novice judge in 2019 and quickly became an advocate for the program. He joined the team as Judges Chair later that year and has also served as a Special Event Coordinator and the Business Manager for Miss Utah and Miss Utah’s Teen.

Together, Austri and Jake bring years of experience, a deep commitment to Miss America’s mission of empowering women to lead, and well-rounded perspective to bring that mission to life in our state. We’re excited for the next chapter of the Miss Utah’s Teen program and look forward to sharing more in the months ahead — including details about our 2027 competition.🤗

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Amy Rasmussen for her 21 years of service to the Miss Utah and Miss Utah’s Teen programs.💖 Amy began directing Miss Utah’s Teen in 2008, and in the years since, has brought the program to new levels and made a difference in the lives of hundreds of young women across our state.

Along the way, Amy has taught us all to be a little more flexible and gracious, the power of a hot glue gun and a few rhinestones, how to lead with love, an most importantly, what it means to empower young women to lead.

Thank you, Amy, for the lasting mark you have left on this program and so many who have been part of it.💫 We are incredibly grateful for all you have given and wish you and your family nothing but the best in this next chapter.🫶🏼🫶🏼

We are heartbroken to learn that Brynn Carnesecca, Miss American Fork 2024, has passed away.

Brynn brought so much light to the Miss Utah and Miss American Fork programs. Her kindness, service, and friendship touched countless people across the state. Brynn was recognized by her fellow contestants with the Miss Congeniality Award at Miss Utah last year (among numerous other recognition) — a testament to the way she made others feel seen, valued, and loved.

The Miss American Fork Organization is hosting a vigil tomorrow evening in Brynn’s honor. All who would like to gather in remembrance and support are welcome.
