There couldn’t have been a more meaningful way to close out Pride Month. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️✨

Last week reminded us what Pride is really about. Coming together, showing up for one another, and putting love back into our communities in tangible ways. ❤️🏡

It was especially powerful to gather on Friday in South Salt Lake with Habitat for Humanity Greater Salt Lake Area and ReStore to honor the 11th anniversary of Obergefell v. Hodges and celebrate the beauty of marriage equality. 💍🌈 A moment that changed so many lives and continues to remind us why this work matters. To mark that milestone by giving back, revitalizing community spaces, and standing together in service made the day even more special. 🛠️🌱

We’re deeply grateful to have partnered with so many incredible local organizations this Pride season doing life-changing work right here in the heart of LOVELOUD. A massive shoutout to all of the community members and partners who helped make this possible—Constructive Alchemy, Utah Pride Center, Pastor Curtis, Equality Utah, and UAF Legacy Health. 💖🤝

It was also such an honor to join Good Things Utah 📺 to talk about this partnership, the importance of Pride Build, and what’s ahead for LOVELOUD as we look toward our 10-year anniversary in 2027. 🎉🔟

On June 26, we're partnering with Habitat for Humanity for Pride Build 2026—a day of community, service, and affordable housing.

It’s a celebration of courage, authenticity, and community. It’s about honoring those who came before us, uplifting those who are here today, and creating a future where every LGBTQ+ person knows they are loved, supported, and never alone.

This June, we celebrate the stories, voices, and lives that make our community vibrant and strong. We celebrate progress, while continuing to advocate for a world where everyone can thrive exactly as they are.

Today, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down a ban on conversion therapy for minors, ruling that restrictions on certain counseling practices violate free speech protections.

We want to be clear: conversion therapy is widely discredited and has been shown to cause real harm to LGBTQ+ youth—increasing the risk of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and thoughts of self-harm and su***de.

In this moment, we stand firmly with the LGBTQ+ community. All LGBTQ+ young people deserve to be supported, affirmed, and safe.

To the LGBTQ+ community: you are perfect just as you are. We love you, and we are here for you.

To learn more about the harmful effects of conversion therapy, we encourage you to explore research from trusted sources like the American Psychological Association and listen to the stories of those who have experienced the horrific practice of conversion therapy for themselves.
