CapHill Neighborhood Sightseeing ✨️

For our final Sightseeing, we're heading all the way up to Ensign Peak! At the very north end of CapHill, there lies a natural beauty of a mountain for anyone to hike up🚶‍♂️, observe a cool monument 🗿, and catch the best view of the valley 🌄!

One of the first sights the early pioneers saw in Salt Lake, was was later named "Ensign Peak" quickly became an important part of Utah's mythos and culture⭐️

CapHill Neighborhood Sightseeing ✨️

This week we're heading to the State of Utah Council Hall! Located just below the Capitol Building in the Kimball neighborhood, this building is a great place to learn about Utah's history 📖, buy some Utah-themed memorabilia 📕, and sightsee one of the coolest spots in CapHill 🔭!

Once the original Salt Lake City Hall building, this location housed some of the most important events and legislation in the early history of Utah, before being relocated brick-by-brick to Kimball⭐️

CapHill Neighborhood Sightseeing ✨️

This week we're heading out west to check out the Union Event Center! This iconic venue in the Guadalupe neighborhood has been home to some of the most iconic concerts from growing artists 🎤, the best moshpits 💃🕺, and some solid bars 🍸!

What was once just a warehouse located near the Union Pacific Station, the need for a medium-sized concert venue turned it into this amazing peice of the Guadalupe neighborhood⭐️

This week we're walking just east of the Capitol to check out Memorial House! This elegant venue is an amazing place to host a wedding 💒, a reception 👨‍💼, or take in the scenery of the Memory Grove 🏡!

Starting as a stable for the early settlers, this now iconic location has been transformed and renovated throughout the decades to become Salt Lake's premier venue for any fancy weddings⭐️

This week we're going south of the Capitol to check out City Creek Park!
City Creek Park is a beautiful place to go on a walk🚶‍♂️, take your dog out 🐕, or just relax and take in the scenery 🏞!

From its early history as a source of freshwater for the indigenous tribes and early settlers, to its construction in 1995, City Creek Park remains one of most refreshing places in Salt Lake⭐️

This week we're walking over to the Marmalade District to check out the brand new Utah Film Center!
The Utah Film Center is a wonderful place to catch a movie screening 🎬, host a board meeting 🧑‍💼, or attend a filmmaker workshop 📽!

Founded in 2002, the Utah Film Center as an organization has spent years in the world of film, helping distribute documentaries, host film festivals, and work with local schools, and they're hosting SLC Pride this month!⭐️
