Here’s to a bright New Year full of opportunity and love. 🥂

This year we are supporting a project of One Wish World bringing Reiki Training to the Women at the Utah State prison.
Executive Director Mindy Relyea states “ The idea behind the Reiki Training in the prison is that we will have an opportunity to teach these women to truly go within, to connect with their own inner voice, to become more self-aware, and in doing so, accountable for their actions and their lives. We will remind them of their inherent worth and beauty, and that each human being has something valuable to offer this world.” 👏🏼

We will also be supporting NAMI UT -Nami Utah provides support to people and their families struggling to maintain mental wellness. 1 in 5 Utahans have experienced a mental illness this year. If you want to support their work visit

Earlier this year we awarded a direct to student Scholarship to Heather Lloyd, a bright nursing student who has overcome many challenges on her educational journey to becoming a nurse. We are so proud of her.

Congratulations to Heather Lloyd the recipient of our first direct to student scholarship from AHFF! Heather is attending Salt Lake Community College as a nursing student. We are thrilled to have her receive this award. Best of luck this Fall Heather! 🙌🏽 You are going to be a great Nurse!

Check out this beautiful video of gratitude from UNI-University Nuerospyciatric Institute. We sure appreciate our AHFF volunteers who participated in our Covid Response Mask Project. We are so glad we could contribute to these amazing medical professionals to provide masks to all of their patients.
