Because He First Loved Us Because He First Loved Us is a relational ministry to refugee families living in the Salt Lake Valley

Because He First Loved Us is a Christian humanitarian organization that works specifically with refugees. Our involvement with the refugee families includes building deep trusting relationships with the families, tutoring children, helping families access social services, educating parents on the English language, appropriate parenting skills and the American culture. We have a boys basketball/men

toring program targeted to reach the at risk age group of boys 9-18, these boys are being most heavily recruited by gangs and are being sucked into unhealthy life styles such as: drugs, crime, violence etc.. with plans in the very near future to add a girls outreach program, an adult language exchange program and various other expansion ideas as well.
