Our collaborators in Vietnam, Mr. Thinh and his wife Bach Yen, have been hard at work to help those in need following the devastating floods of 2020. Pictured here, they’ve joined up with a volunteer medical team of Tue Tinh Duong Hai Duc Hospital to help ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands. They distributed clothing, books, blankets, cash, and provided free medical exams and medicine delivery.

Meet , a 6 year old girl (pictured in the center in blue) in Lagos, Nigeria who is incredibly passionate about tennis. Access to proper equipment has always been a barrier for her and other kids in her community. Through , DCC is supporting a shipment of over 40 rackets, 40 shirts, 100 foam balls, tennis bags, and shoes to help Nana and her community in their love of the game.

The Hué region of Vietnam, where Dry Creek has been working since 2005 through our local collaborator Mr. Thinh, has been devastated by back to back typhoons and some of the worst flooding seen in decades. Through Mr. Thinh and his wife Bach Yen, who have been actively involved in relief efforts, especially for ethnic minorities in the region, Dry Creek has been able to channel support directly to those hit hardest by the storms. (Worth noting that Vietnam has essentially eliminated COVID.)

Big thanks to Millcreek Gardens, Zwick Construction, and Tree Utah for Arbor Day 2016! In all, ten schools received trees which involved students planting and wrtiting an essay about why we need to nuture Mother Earth. Jordan Ridge Elementary picture here.

A few of our Break-Thru Soccer players have received scholarships to play for a competitive league. We're in need of a volunteer to give them a ride to practice once a week (either Sun/Mon/Wed) from Sunnyvale. Practice is at Rowland Hall from 6:00-7:30pm.
