"Ashton has been working with his speech therapist for a while now, and she has truly made a positive difference in his communication skills. She has been helping him with articulation, pronunciation, and building confidence when he speaks. She uses engaging activities, games, and repetition exercises that make learning fun for him, which keeps him motivated.

Over time, I’ve noticed improvement in his clarity, vocabulary, and willingness to express himself. He’s more confident speaking in full sentences and communicating his needs clearly. Her support has really helped strengthen his speech development and overall confidence. I’m grateful for the progress he’s made through her guidance."

Children gain the most from sharing books with an adult when they’re actively involved – when book time becomes a back-and-forth conversation.

What does this mean?

It means you’re not just reading to your child; you’re reading with them. When this happens, your child does a lot more than listening as you read – they point out and share things of interest to them and this turns into a conversation.

The totals are in from our Bingo Night Fundraiser with Second Summit Hard Cider Co. on Wednesday, April 29!

You helped us raise a total of $1,720!

That covers speech and language therapy for one child for an entire year! Plus, a 365 Club membership, or $1 per day for an entire year.

We couldn't be more grateful! It's opportunities like these that help us continue our mission to support children's success in home and school through free speech, language, and reading therapy.
