We are so sad to hear of the passing of America’s sweetheart, Dolly Parton. She truly was one of a kind. ❤️
Dolly’s legacy reaches far beyond her music. Through her passion for literacy and the Imagination Library, she helped put millions of books into the hands of children—opening doors to learning, imagination, and opportunity.
At Utah Refugee Connection, literacy is an important part of the work we do with refugee families. We want children to grow up surrounded by books and parents to have the resources they need to read, learn, and grow together.
We are joining forces with other organizations across Utah to help connect children with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which provides an age-appropriate book every month from birth until a child turns five—at no cost to the family.
We are especially committed to making sure refugee children in Utah have access to this incredible program.
What a beautiful way to honor Dolly’s legacy: put a book into the hands of a child. 📚❤️
