This is your official reminder that the Stewardship Utah Book Club gathers tomorrow evening, Wednesday, June 10, at Alpha Coffee Big Cottonwood!
This year feels jam-packed with big questions about public lands, growth, conservation, recreation, and who gets to shape the future of the places we love. That’s why we’re kicking off the series with Marketing the Wilderness by Joseph Wilson, a thought-provoking look at how wilderness has been packaged, promoted, and sold throughout American history, and how those narratives continue to influence public lands policy, outdoor culture, and conservation today.
The goal isn’t to dissect a book so much as to create space for thoughtful conversation with people who care about building a thriving future together.

Stewardship Utah is seeking a full-time Field Organizer now until November 15, 2026 to expand our community organizing, issue advocacy, and voter registration programs in and around San Juan County. Applications will be considered on a rolling basis beginning June 1st.

The ideal candidate will love rural Utah and care about the complex issues affecting our communities. They will be excited to build relationships and coalitions. They will be driven to assist in building a program that increases engagement with the electoral process and local governments. This organizer will work closely with our current rural organizer in San Juan County and the entire team on strengthening civic engagement and supporting local candidates.

We believe many voters care deeply about addressing democracy, climate change, clean air and protecting public lands. You will be at the forefront of bringing forth their issues through face-to-face conversations, voter registration tables, door-to-door canvassing, texting, and calling.

In a moment of insane data center developement, attacks on democracy, and everyone being way too online, it feels pretty radical to gather in real life.

We’re very pumped to announce the Stewardship Utah Book Club is back! Once a month, we’re meeting at local spots to read and talk about the future we’re building together. Themes throughout the series are public lands, democracy, climate psychology, organizing, clean energy, and environmental health.

We’re kicking things off Wednesday, May 27 at Alpha Coffee Big Cottonwood with Marketing the Wilderness by Joseph Witson, a conversation about the stories we tell around wilderness, the outdoors, and who gets included in those narratives.

Good conversation. Big questions. Actual community. Come through! Link to RSVP in bio.

Tucker Carlson completely corners Kevin O’Leary regarding massive corporate welfare for AI data centers.

O’Leary openly admits that billionaire tech monopolies are forcing ordinary taxpayers to heavily subsidize their private investments.

We can all see what’s happening here. Help us stop this madness at the link in bio!

This fight is far from over.

We’re mobilizing alongside local residents in Box Elder County to support legal action, signature gathering, and statewide organizing efforts around the proposed Stratos Project. We’re also coordinating with environmental and democracy partners across Utah and beyond.

We need everyone in this fight. Go to our link in bio and get involved!

In honor of Earth Day, we’re bringing together candidates running for Congress in Utah’s new 1st District for a dynamic, issues-driven debate!

In front of an audience of engaged community members, candidates will respond to moderated questions focused on the issues shaping Utah’s future, from Great Salt Lake and public lands, to air quality and the health of our democracy. This is a chance to hear where candidates stand on conservation and democracy issues in our state.

Hang around after the debate for a social hour with pizza and non-alcoholic beverages and chat with fellow conservation organizations like , , , and others. It’s a free, all-ages event. RSVP is required in advance to attend (link in bio)!

Today, we’re proud to share our first round of 2026 endorsements!

These candidates have shown a real commitment to the issues that matter: protecting the Great Salt Lake, improving air quality, advancing renewable energy, defending our public lands, and safeguarding our ballots.

We’re grateful for their vision, and hope you’ll join us in supporting them. This is just our first round. We’ll continue to meet with candidates and announce additional endorsements after the State Convention and leading up to the June 23rd Primary!
