From game nights to the Lexington Open. 🎮🎾💙

Extra Lifer Tommy, representing Lexington Games for Good, joined Golisano Children’s at UK at the Lexington Open Community Partner Breakfast to celebrate the people and groups supporting kids across Kentucky.

He brought along a very special guest, too: his daughter Marcy, who once received care at Golisano Children’s and quickly became the star of the morning. 💛

For Tommy and his family, Extra Life is a way to turn a love of gaming into support for the hospital and care teams that mean so much to their community.

Your Extra Life fundraisers help kids, like Pierce, get the care they need. 💛⚽️⚾️
At 22 months, a fever turned into an unthinkable diagnosis for Pierce: acute myeloid leukemia. He spent 115 days at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, facing chemo, platelet transfusions, and blood transfusions.

A global search found a perfect bone marrow donor in France, and her cells helped save his life.

Today, Pierce is a thriving 10-year-old who loves soccer and baseball, and his family celebrates two birthdays every year: his birthday and his “blood birthday.”

Victoria Enmon was a Leukemia patient whose love for games and helping others inspired the creation of Extra Life. It's more than a hobby. It's a movement formed by gamers and committed to helping local hospitals.

One Extra Lifer recently joined a local community meet-up at OHSU Doernbecher Children's Hospital, connecting with fellow Extra Lifers and hospital staff.

After spending many visits there over the past six years as the parent of a patient, being back as a visitor carried a different meaning.
