✨Dream Big: For Moss Elementary wouldn't happen without the sponsors who back it!

This year's event is made possible by five local businesses who stepped up, and we want to give them the shoutout they deserve. 💙

🐾Brickyard Animal Hospital (Brickyard Animal Hospital) has been a steady supporter of Rotary's work in the community year over year, and their generosity is a big part of what makes this event possible.

🏦First Utah Bank (First Utah Bank) came through this year, backing the kind of local investment they've always believed in.

🚗Porsche of Salt Lake City (Porsche Salt Lake City) brought their support to Dream Big and helped push us closer to our goal for Moss Elementary students.

🔧Holbrook Service & Servco (Holbrook Servco Boiler Service & Sales) has shown up for this community time and again, and this year was no different.

📚 Marissa's Books & Gifts (Marissa's Books & Gifts), a true neighborhood staple, rounded out our sponsor group with the kind of local support that keeps this event going.

🏛️ A huge thank you to Millcreek City (Millcreek - Municipal Government) for generously donating the space for our Dream Big event and helping us bring this special evening to life!

Every one of these businesses chose to invest in Moss Elementary and in the kids who'll benefit from Dream Big. ❤️ Please take a minute to follow them, visit their pages, and support the businesses that support our community.

Thank you doesn't quite cover it, but it's where we'll start! 🙌

Our members were delighted to meet teachers, staff, and especially parents and kids from Moss Elementary! They helped with many fun events associated with this Back-to-School event, including the Bike Rodeo hosted by Salt Lake County Police Dept, which helped teach bike safety.

30+ languages are spoken at Moss Elementary! "Thank goodness for Google Translate," commented one of the Millcreek Rotary volunteers!

Last week three Millcreek Rotary RYLA alumni from this year came back to tell us what leadership lessons they learned in July!

Every year our club sends students to RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), and last week three of them spoke to our club about the experience. They ran mock service projects with real budget and time constraints, then had to adapt when facilitators threw in "wild cards" like sudden budget cuts. They talked about learning to communicate under pressure and building trust fast with people they'd just met.

We passed the gavel last night! 🤝

We spent the evening thanking Drew and the entire 2025-26 board for a year of real work. 🙌 It takes a village, and this one showed up. Then we welcomed our new president, Judy Zone, and the incoming board for 2026-27. Judy actually founded our club years ago but this year will be her first time serving on the board. 🎊

Here's where we're headed this year: more socials and more service projects with real impact right here in Millcreek and Salt Lake City.

In our Membership Survey, our members told us what they want most out of this club, friendship and local service, so that's exactly what we're building around.

New year, new board, same mission. 💙
Follow along as we get started. 🔜
