We’ll be meeting the students at the museum and chaperoning their visit as they explore the fascinating world of insects. It’s a great opportunity to bring science to life and spark curiosity outside the classroom!

We’re making progress—but we’re not there yet 💙

The Rotary Club of Millcreek, Utah continues to support the Rotaract Club of Nakivale Rubondo in Uganda as they work to provide critical resources for girls in the Nakivale Refugee Settlement. Thanks to those who have already donated and shared, we’re moving closer to our goal—but we still need more support to get there.

This project will provide 300 vulnerable girls and women with reusable sanitary pads, hands-on training to make their own, and essential menstrual health and reproductive education. It’s about more than supplies—it’s about keeping girls in school, protecting their health, and restoring dignity.

The Rotary Club of Millcreek, Utah is proud to support the Rotaract Club of Nakivale Rubondo in Uganda as they work to help girls in the Nakivale Refugee Settlement.

Many refugee girls there face a monthly challenge most of us never think about — they lack access to basic menstrual supplies. Without them, girls often miss school or are forced to use unsafe materials.

This project will support 300 vulnerable girls and women by providing reusable sanitary pads, teaching them how to make their own pads, and offering menstrual health and reproductive education. The goal is to keep girls in school, protect their health, and restore dignity and confidence.

🎉 Big shoutout to our very own Frank Lilly – we're excited to share that he was recently awarded his 3-Red-Stone Pin 🎗️ and featured in a recent NPR article for his work as Planning Director & Assistant City Manager of Millcreek.

In the piece, Frank dives into how Millcreek is stepping up to face Utah’s affordable-housing challenge head-on—sharing insights, ideas and local-government action.

Here’s a sneak peek:
“The Howick building will have 150 units, half with three or four bedrooms for families. Subsidized rents will range from $900 to just under $2,000, depending on the apartment size and people's income. Lilly says it will help some who really struggle to pay market rate rent.”
