Utah NENA The Utah Chapter of the National Emergency Number Association is dedicated to making 9-1-1 and emergency communications work better.

We measure our success by the lives that are saved by 9-1-1 each day. We work every day on a single, yet vital, mission: providing an effective and accessible 9-1-1 service for North America. In short, we are a membership dedicated to making 9-1-1 and emergency communications work better, and measure our success in the lives that are saved by 9-1-1 each day. Serving as a link in the delivery of emergency services, 9-1-1 has, throughout its evolution, become recognized as an asset of the North American public. And the NENA organization has been connected to 9-1-1 every step of the way.

Huge shoutout to Versaterm⁠ for treating Utah NENA and Utah APCO to an amazing dinner! 💛

Great food, even better conversation, and a chance to connect outside of the conference chaos. We’re incredibly grateful for partners who don’t just support public safety; they take the time to sit down, build relationships, share some laughs, and be part of our 9-1-1 community.

Utah NENA made a stop at Weber Area Dispatch 911 to drop off a few goodies and, more importantly, remind our dispatchers that they are not alone. ❤️

Their center recently handled the devastating Riverdale fire that claimed the lives of a father and four children, leaving behind a mother and two surviving children. Our hearts are with this family as they face an unimaginable loss, and with every dispatcher, firefighter, law enforcement officer, EMS provider, and responder who carried a piece of this tragedy with them.

This is also an important reminder to our 9-1-1 community across Utah: if your center is going through something difficult, we want to know.

Whether it’s a critical incident, a devastating call, or simply a center that has been carrying a little too much lately, Utah NENA wants to show up however we appropriately can—with acknowledgement, a check-in, resources, connections, or sometimes just snacks and a reminder that somebody sees you.

But we can only show up if we know it’s happening.

Please reach out to Utah NENA when your center or another center in your area is navigating something heavy. You don’t have to carry the headset alone. 🖤💛

RADIO CHECK, UTAH… Y’ALL STILL WITH US?! 😂

Day 1 is officially in the CAD history, nobody got kicked out of the block party, and somehow they’ve decided to let all of us back into the conference center for DAY 2. Bold choice. 😈
