Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Utah and Idaho Chapter We're helping to advance the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s mission to cure cystic fibrosis.

Faced with insurmountable odds, but determined to save the lives of their children, a group of concerned parents came together in 1955 to form the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. At the time, very little was known about cystic fibrosis, but the tenacity and strength of CF families laid the groundwork for monumental progress in research, care, and treatment of a rare disease. Today, because of their hard work and the support of generous volunteers and donors, many people with CF are living into adulthood. Yet, we still lose precious young lives every day and will not be satisfied until there is a cure for all those living with this disease.

Did you know you can support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation through a donor-advised fund (DAF)? A DAF is a charitable giving account that allows you to contribute cash, stocks, or other assets, receive an immediate tax deduction, and recommend grants to the causes you care about most. It's a flexible and easy way to support the CF Foundation with a one-time or recurring gift, or in the future as a beneficiary.

We did it!

Thanks to everyone who supported our match and the support of the cystic fibrosis community, we achieved our goal and raised $130,758, moving us one step closer to a cure for CF.

Celebrating Katie Crump!

It is with both gratitude and sadness that we share that Katie Crump's last day with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation will be September 10, 2026. After nearly seven years of dedicated service, Katie is moving on to a new chapter, leaving behind a remarkable legacy of impact, innovation, and care.

Throughout her time with our organization, Katie has been a driving force behind countless successes. Her exceptional attention to detail, ability to navigate complex systems and processes, and commitment to creating efficient solutions have strengthened our work in ways both seen and unseen. Whether managing intricate projects, improving operations, or ensuring every detail was thoughtfully addressed, Katie approached every challenge with professionalism, expertise, and determination. Yet Katie's greatest contribution has always been her people-first approach. She has a unique gift for building meaningful relationships and fostering trust with donors, volunteers, board members, colleagues, and families in the cystic fibrosis community. Her genuine compassion and deep commitment to our mission have touched countless lives and helped strengthen the connections that make our community so special.

Katie's impact extends far beyond individual projects. She has been a catalyst for innovation and efficiency, helping our chapter grow stronger and work smarter. Her ability to lead complex initiatives, cultivate donor relationships, and streamline operations has made her an invaluable member of our team and a trusted partner to so many.

While we will deeply miss Katie's talents, dedication, and friendship, we are incredibly grateful for all she has contributed during her nearly seven years with the Foundation. The positive influence she leaves behind will continue to benefit our organization and the CF community for years to come.

Please join us in thanking Katie for her outstanding service and wishing her every success and happiness in this next chapter. We are proud of all she has accomplished and will be cheering her on as she embarks on new opportunities.
