Be a part of the crew that makes the event run as smoothly as possible!

Volunteers for the Utah Scottish Festival and Highland Games will receive a volunteer t-shirt, and access to all 3 days of the festival in exchange for working at least one volunteer shift lasting three hours.

Volunteer needs range to most areas, including Setup/Takedown, Athletics, Piping, Hospitality, Information booths, etc. so we need all kinds of skillsets!

Today is the last day to register for the 2026 Utah Scottish Festival & Highland Games piping and drumming competition, held June 12–14 at the Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City, Utah.

This year's WUSPBA-sanctioned competition features solo piping, solo drumming, and band competitions across all grades.

We're also excited to highlight three events for 2026!

🥁Piping Trio

A peek at our festival committee meeting last night at the Utah State Fairpark!

We met at the venue, sat down at the pavillion for some updates before walking the grounds to visualize some layout changes, let newer committee members get a feel for the space, and to take some measurements.

Our team of hard-working volunteers is doing their best to make sure things run as smoothly as possible!

June 12-14 will be here before we know it!

You never know what you're going to see at the Utah Scottish Festival and Highland Games! You might find a pup with a kilt, or even a tartan dye-job!

Speaking of the pups, we do welcome dogs to the festival, as long as they are well-behaved, on a leash, and you clean up after them.

Enjoy the wit and prowess of Donnie Macdonald and James Keigher, known as Men of Worth.

Their show is a unique combination of humor, exciting tunes, and soulful, heartfelt ballads. While both sing in English, Donnie also sings in his first language, Scots Gaelic and James in Irish Gaelic. Donnie comes from the Isle of Lewis in Scotland while James comes from County Mayo in Ireland.

Men of Worth will perform all three days June 12-14, 2026.
