Utah Crew is looking for a Head Coach.
Rowing in Utah? Absolutely! Join us and coach athletes amidst a backdrop of snowcapped mountains in beautiful Salt Lake City. Utah Crew is a nationally competitive youth rowing program that strives to develop each athlete to his or her full potential within an environment of safety, fun and increasing levels of challenge. Head Coach is a permanent part time year-round position. A supportive and active board significantly lightens the workload. The candidate should have several years of experience coaching sculling boats, pass a background check, and be SafeSport and first aid certified. Salary commensurate with experience with the potential for recruitment and performance bonuses.
Responsibilities include:
• Recruitment, training and supervision of coaching staff
• Development of competition and training schedules
• Maintenance of all equipment
• Assist in the continued development of the California Avenue Rowing Center
• Athlete recruitment
