💛 Thank You Thursday! 💛

Today, we celebrated Whittier Elementary School kindergarten teacher Melanie Willey: a teacher who shows up, steps up and always puts her students first.

Principal Briana Cauley says Melanie is someone the school can consistently count on—whether she’s supporting her grade level, taking on new leadership or simply jumping in wherever she’s needed.

And we saw that dedication firsthand. Even in the middle of her Thank You Thursday surprise, Melanie kept the lesson going, holding up a yellow bag and having her students repeat the color. 💛

Thank you, Melanie, for being someone your students and your school community can count on. Whittier is lucky to have you!

Shop-A-Thon was a day of full carts, fresh haircuts, new coats, backpacks and toys and a whole lot of happy faces - about 400 to be exact 😁

Thanks to an incredible crew of community partners, students got to shop at Kohl’s while also receiving vision and dental screenings, haircuts and plenty of extras to make the day feel special.

We couldn’t do it without the people who show up for Granite students:

But today? We went digital. 📱For the first time ever, THANK YOU THURSDAY happened via FaceTime!

Honestly, it couldn’t be more fitting for Cottonwood High School math teacher Sierra Argyle because when her school needs her, Sierra answers the call. Anywhere. Anytime.

Principal Justin Pitcher says Sierra has been instrumental in implementing RTI Time, leading the math department and creating high-quality engagement with faculty and staff.
