Dear Wasatch Parents and Students,
8th and 9th grade Lagoon days and the High Honor Roll Pary
The permission slips and payment for the 8th grade Lagoon day is due Tuesday, May 9th. 9th grade Lagoon day form is due on Tuesday May 25th. The cost is $31 and more information can be found in the Main Office. The High Honor Roll Party is on Friday May 19th @ 12:45. This is for students that have earned a 3.75 GPA in 2 out of 3 terms. There is not cost, but a permission slip found in the Main office has more details and is due Wednesday, May 10th.
From the Financial Secretary
The end of the year is approaching quickly and there are a few financial matters pending:
· Are you sure you purchased a yearbook? Over 150 students did not purchase a yearbook. A limited amount of yearbooks are available for purchase if all your student's fees are paid. A list of students who have not purchased a yearbook is posted in the office by student ID #. Last day to buy a yearbook is May 5
· All lunch money will remain in your student's lunch account for the coming school year. Money will transfer with your student to high school. Please request a lunch refund IF your student is NOT attending a school in Granite District next year.
· Some students still owe fines. If you are not sure, please have your student check the fee list posted in the office or check online @ www.wasatchwebstore.com. Unpaid balances carry over from year to year and can prevent your student from participating in year-end activities i.e., honor roll/citizenship party, 8th and 9th grade celebration party, Lagoon day and yearbook signing day. Please remit payment by May 10
You may email me at [email protected] with any questions.
Thank you,
Linda Quinn

Calling out to past and current Theater students
Attached you will find an invitation to Karen Dodge's retirement celebration. As many of you know, Karen has worked for 20 years at Wasatch Jr. High, and she will be retiring this year. While we know she will leave the community wanting more, she is looking forward to her next big adventure of starting her own children's theatre company. We would love to give her a grand send off! Please share this email with those who have been touched by her amazing talents. Whether a parent volunteer, a former or current student, previous PLT or SBO officers, stage crew, co-worker or audience member- we want her to know what she has meant to this community. So mark your calendars, get out your contact list, and spread the word! (Please see invitation for event details)
If you have any questions, or are interested in donating to the event, please contact myself or Lisa Wood. You can also join the Facebook Group "Wasatch Jr. High Drama Students (Former & Current)."
