The Benefit El Salvador Project is an ongoing fundraising effort aimed at supplying rural public health clinics in El Salvador with needed medical equipment and resources. Currently, the project is working to raise $20,000 in order to purchase medical supplies for the clinics in Chiltiupan, La Libertad, Taquillo, and Zaragoza. Although these clinics are the only medical facilities serving their co

mmunities, they lack much of the medical equipment and supplies essential to adequately treat their patients. Addressing and alleviating this problem is the main goal of The Benefit El Salvador Project. The Benefit El Salvador Project will purchase the most urgently needed medical supplies for the clinics. Some of these items include: blood pressure cuffs, stethoscopes, otoscopes, crutches, wheelchairs, ace bandages, thermometers, alcohol prep pads, sterile gauze, and suture kits. All equipment and supply needs are identified by clinic administrators in order to accurately address the problem and efficiently allocate donations. Consider that if 4,000 people contributed $5, the goal of our fundraising effort would be met. $20,000 will provide the means to purchase all of the most urgently needed supplies, and would contribute directly to the improvement of the quality and availability of health care in these communities. Please consider this opportunity to effectively deliver change to thousands of people. Your contribution will directly benefit the lives of those in need of health care in rural El Salvador.
