🌟 Member Spotlight: David Thibault, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHS

David is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Pediatric Mental Health Specialist dedicated to improving the lives of children, adolescents, and young adults. With a DNP and MSN from Duke University, his clinical focus spans depression, anxiety, ADHD, and trauma-informed care — always with a holistic lens.

Beyond the clinic, David is an assistant professor at Utah Tech University, a national presenter, published contributor, and peer-reviewed journal reviewer. We’re proud to have him as a UNP member! 💙

This is something that we should all be very concerned about. Please submit a comment to the federal Department of Education requesting that nurses be included in the "professional" category, which would allow us to obtain student loans for education beyond a bachelor's degree. This would directly affect all Americans because nurses are essential to healthcare. Without student loans, nurses, educators, and nurse practitioners would be reduced, causing a strain on the workforce, directly affecting access to care. Let the Department of Education know your thoughts and your own story.

For families and friends, do you know a nurse practitioner? Is your provider a nurse practitioner? Are any of your kids or grandchildren in nursing school or looking at a health profession?
