💚🧡💜 From each of us at the Utah Somos Foundation, thank you for joining us at our annual gala as we celebrated our SOMOS Scholars and recognized a handful of inspiring community leaders.

🎁 Through the generosity and dedication of our incredible sponsors, supporters, and attendees, we raised over $40,000 for our scholarship fund to support future Somos Scholars. We are deeply grateful and honored to cultivate this path together, nurturing dreams and growing the futures of our community’s emerging leaders.

A very special thank you to everyone who helped make the night unforgettable:

🌷Keynote Speaker Spotlight 🌷

We are honored to welcome Jenny Amador Mayer as the keynote speaker for this year’s SOMOS Gala: Cultivando Caminos: Nurturing Dreams and Growing Futures.

As the Director of University Neighborhood Partners, Jenny has dedicated her life to building pathways through education, mentorship, and community connection. Her work reflects the heart of this year’s theme — empowering future generations through meaningful relationships and opportunities to grow.

Jenny’s deep raíces in Utah tell a powerful story of leadership and advocacy across generations. From her grandfather helping establish Centro Civico Mexicano in 1939 to her father creating the Chicano Scholarship and Ethnic Studies programs at the University of Utah, her family’s legacy continues to inspire our community today.
