WEGO’s activities will address the integration of people into the mainstream working environment of their places of residence in order to foster self sufficiency among them. These people may include both residents of countries outside the US and refugees from developing countries in the US. Our focus will be to serve, initially and primarily, disadvantaged women from the Middle Eastern Regions, bu
t where and when there is a capacity for service to men and children and people from other regions, we will include them. Our education program includes life skills, IT training, English and other language skills, and basic literacy in the most suitable language needed for self sufficiency. We will include other skills and training as the needs are presented, some of which may include: principles in democracy, child care, driving, and other traveling skills, proper and professional interaction with the opposite s*x, safety and self-defense, principles in personal finance, cultural hygiene standards and the like. WEGO will conduct a local US and in particular Utah, focused initiative for refugees from disadvantaged backgrounds based on the basic structure of WEGOs integration goals. A Local education and outreach program to the community at large will be incorporated in this piece of the scope. Objective and Directive: to educate and train primarily women in the basic skills and attributes deserving of successful self-sufficient women and introduce them to opportunities to achieve that success, and develop a duplicatable program for other areas. General Methodology: Create a classroom setting the curriculum for instructing Women and others, empowering them in the skills essential for success in professional industries including life skills and self-development, IT and hard skills, and mentoring or teaching and training those same skills to others; then facilitate exposure to other successful people in instruction settings and networking environments.
