Salt Lake Men's Choir [ a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) ] encourages and takes pride in the diversity of its members. Our common thread is that we strive for musical excellence in our singing. The 2024-2025 season is our 41st year. Our artistic director, Dennis McCracken joined us in 2006 and the choir has seen steady growth, both in numbers and quality since. We have produced two CDs, “Ring Out Wild Bel
ls!,” an album of Christmas music, and a collection of American music entitled “SLMC.” We have performed all over the state of Utah as well as Idaho, California and the Washington National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. We are also thrilled to have performed in a sold-out Sydney Opera House as part of the Sydney 2002 Gay Games VI Sport and Cultural Festival. As a volunteer community choir, this organization has accomplished much since its beginning. Our ability to do that is found in the pledge of commitment we make to each other to be the best we can be, both individually and collectively. Integrity, good will and trust in each other have built the choir to what it is today.
