Who’s the boss?

Dr. Shields () walked all of our cohorts through this exercise. We “just know” who the leader is by what they wear, how they sit, and (apparently) their gender.

But there’s a not-so-hidden cost to hiring the “obvious”leader:

💡 29% more likely to underperform industry peers
💡 Less effective decision-making due to group think
💡 Lower EBIT margins

We know better and we celebrate the new look of leadership.

So, who’s the boss? All our featured ladies. The guy may be too, but he’s a stock photo we found after searching “leader.”

The next time you question whether you’re leadership material, know that there’s room for you.
