There's more than one way to host a Gifting Tree 🎁

🛍️ For your customers: Put a tree in your lobby or storefront and invite clients to choose a tag and donate. It's a simple way to show your community what your business stands for.

🤝 For your team: Make it an in-house giving project. Teams pick tags together, shop together, and can even help deliver gifts to ShelterKids in South Salt Lake. Great for team building and building culture around giving back.

Either way, these gifts support kids this holiday season and all year long.

Calling all local businesses! Host a Gifting Tree and help bring holiday joy to abused, neglected, and at-risk youth in our community. Visit www.shelterkids.org to get started.

Here’s how it works:
- We provide a tree with tags listing wish list items and essential needs
- Your customers and/or employees take a tag and purchase the items
- Unwrapped gifts are collected at your location and returned to ShelterKids before the holidays

🎄 Will YOUR business host a ShelterKids Gifting Tree this year?

Each tag on the tree is a real wish or need from a child in our community: a cozy hoodie, a book, art supplies, a favorite toy. Your customers pick a tag, grab the gift, and drop it back off. That's it.

We bring the tree, the tags, and the signage. You provide a little space and a point of contact. Trees go up anytime between Nov 3 and Dec 23.

ShelterKids is all-volunteer, so 100% of every gift goes straight to kids. 💛

As a new school year begins, many students are excited to reconnect with friends, meet new teachers, and start fresh.

For some youth in our community, back-to-school can bring uncertainty instead of excitement.

At ShelterKids, we are committed to supporting programs that help children and young adults experiencing abuse, neglect, homelessness, and family crisis find stability, safety, and hope. Whether it's providing essential items, supporting after-school programs, or helping create spaces where youth feel seen and valued, every act of generosity makes a difference.
