Sue Foley is back at The State Room this Sunday night, the last night of her current tour! She'll start solo, playing select tunes from her One Guitar Woman: A Tribute to the Female Pioneers of Guitar, which was nominated for the 2025 GRAMMY® Award for Best Traditional Blues Album. Her band will then join her for a long set of 'kick-ass' Texas blues! Last time she blew the roof off the place for a SOLD OUT crowd. If that wasn't enough, Sue Foley also just published her long awaited book, Guitar Women: Conversations with the Heroines of Guitar (Sutherland House, 2026), that chronicles her interviews with groundbreaking female players. Foley also holds a PhD in Musicology from York University. There will be less than 10 copies left, so if you don't already have it and want to get her to sign it, get down there early!!
Opening the evening will be a local duo, Mary Tebbs & Will Baxter.
Hurry and get your tickets!
