Day two of the Utah Association of Chambers Winter Conference!

From chamber of commerce best practices with Chamber Pros Frank J. Kenny to the importance of sports and entertainment in Utah with The Larry H. Miller Company CEO Steve Starks, it was a day packed with inspiring and insightful conversations.

Plus, we got to connect with chambers from across the state. Hope to see you all at the next one!

Day One of the Utah Association of Chambers Winter Conference is complete! What a packed day.

We heard policy updates from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, the Salt Lake Chamber team and Utah legislators, discussed the economic future of our state and had the opportunity to meet with Gov. Spencer J. Cox.

The day ended with a legislative reception with members of the Utah Legislature, Salt Lake Chamber circle level members and chamber of commerce executives from across the state.

Looking forward to day number two!

Know when to water in your area! It's an important way to stay while we're in .

If you live in Northern Utah water your lawn between 6 p.m. and 10 a.m. If you're in Southern Utah water between 8 p.m. and 10 a.m. These time limits ensure that you'll lose as little water as possible to evaporation loss. There is one exception - if it's too windy at night, find a better time to water, even if it's during the day. Water loss due to wind can be more drastic than evaporation loss.
