After stepping away from the annual Wacky charity softball tournament for the past two years, I'm happy to announce I'll be returning to the fields this year! Huge shoutout to Becca for carrying on our legacy as I healed mentally, emotionally and physically. It was very serendipitous timing as I shattered my hip and pelvis a month prior to the first tournament held without me. Handing the reins to Becca was God's way of telling me, "You better get your softballs in a row, girlie, because I'm going to toss you a really big learning curve!" I didn't think it was necessary to toss me in a public parking lot for complete humiliation, but here we are.
It was our women in blue (Marianne & Heather) that presented me with another wacky approach:
* We're bringing back Opening Ceremonies, skills contest and a mini-clinic
* We've moved the tourney back to Salt Lake County
* We're open to tournament sponsorship
* We can operate our own concession stands
