It is with deep sadness and humble gratitude that we remember Karen Haight Huntsman, a visionary philanthropist whose compassion, strength, and lifelong commitment to relieving human suffering touched countless lives.

Alongside her beloved husband, Jon Huntsman, Mrs. Huntsman helped create lasting impact across cancer care, mental health, domestic violence, homelessness, disaster relief, and many other causes close to their hearts.

Her legacy of faith, family, service, and generosity will continue to inspire the work carried forward here at Huntsman Mental Health Foundation.

In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring Mrs. Huntsman’s legacy with a donation to one of her beloved charities, Huntsman Cancer Foundation (Huntsman Cancer Events) or Huntsman Mental Health Foundation.

At Huntsman Mental Health Foundation, we’re working to support the more than 44,000 youth in Utah who struggle with suicidal thoughts each year.

Behind every number is a young person who needs support, understanding, and care. No one should feel alone in their darkest moments.

Depression doesn’t have to define their story. There is hope. There is healing. And there is a team ready to help.

You can make a difference. Help us break the stigma around mental health and provide life-saving care to those who need it most by donating today: give.hmhf.org/campaign/792549/donate
