These four very important words are in the back of our business cards.

All four are critical to our rescue efforts. There is one that is keeping us awake at night right now….its DONATE.

We are desperate for donations. Our intake increased these last two months, the price of our dog good increased and medical expenses have stretched our finances to the limit

If there is anyway you can hep Utah Friends of Basset Hounds with a donation, we would be grateful beyond words.

We’d like to share this lovely message from a special family. They saw something special in our Connie. Her early life left her with many emotional scars. The couple who adopted her never gave up on Connie and the many challenges they faced with.
Connie had been with us for two and a half years. We like to think she was waiting for them.

“I just wanted to reach out to say thank you for giving us our girl 8 years ago- then named Connie, changed to Hilde with us, she spent all this time being completely spoiled, smothered with affection, and thanks to her we have dog beds in every corner of the house. She was definitely a challenge in the beginning, she was so scared and shy.
As time went on and we built trust, we got to see the most special dog in the world. Her smile, her personality, and her total houndish charm changed our lives. She passed on the 28th and we miss her desperately. We feel blessed to have known a dog so special ❤”
