Standing Together: A Message from UCHWA’s Executive Director
To all Community Health Workers, their families and our Allies, you are the heart of our communities. You are the ones providing care, comfort, and guidance to those who need it most. In moments like this—when fear and uncertainty weigh heavily—we must remember that we are not alone.
The Utah Community Health Workers Association (UCHWA) stands with you. We are actively working to gather the facts, identify allies, and advocate for policies that protect our communities. Despite these harmful executive actions, we know that many organizations, leaders, and individuals remain committed to serving and protecting our most vulnerable.
Now, more than ever, we must support one another. We must resist fear, misinformation, and division. We must continue to uplift our communities with hope, resilience, and love.
Together, we will rise above these challenges. Together, we will fight for a future that is just, fair, and compassionate. Though the road ahead may be difficult, we will not be deterred.
Stand strong. Stay informed. Take care of each other. And never lose hope.
