Today is Back-to-School Rally Day!
Spence Eccles Boys & Girls Club
141 N 600 W
August 12 | 5:00–8:00 PM

As young people head into a new school year, we’re reminded that preparing kids for their future takes more than getting them ready for the first day of school. It means giving them the support, opportunities, skills, and people they need to succeed all year long.

Across the country, Boys & Girls Clubs are helping prepare tomorrow’s leaders:
• 9 in 10 Club kids expect to graduate high school on time.
• 8 in 10 Club teens feel ready to get a job and manage their finances.
• 3 in 4 Club kids believe they can make a positive difference in their community.

Here at the Spence Eccles Boys & Girls Club, we’re kicking off that support TODAY with our Back-to-School Night & Clothing Swap from 5:00–8:00 PM!

Families can join us for free school supplies and backpacks, free haircuts, clothing for kids and families, community resources, dinner, and an opportunity to connect with our Club as we head into another school year together.

But our support doesn’t end when Back-to-School Night is over. Throughout the school year, our Club is here to provide a safe place to belong, caring mentors, academic support, leadership opportunities, and experiences that help young people prepare for whatever comes next.

Our Club kids aren’t just the leaders of tomorrow. Every day, they show us what they are capable of today.

America Needs Club Kids because the America of tomorrow will be shaped by the way we invest in our kids today!

✂️ Calling all barbers! ✂️

Our annual Back to School Night is just around the corner, and we’re looking for a few amazing barbers willing to donate their time to provide free haircuts for our Club youth. A fresh haircut can make all the difference in helping a child walk into school feeling confident and ready to learn.

🎒 We also need donations of new school supplies, especially:
• Backpacks
• Notebooks
• Pens & pencils
• Binders
• Pencil boxes/pouches
• Lunch boxes

Every donation, big or small, helps ensure our kids start the school year prepared and with confidence.

If you’re a barber who would like to volunteer or you’d like to donate supplies, please call us at 801-531-7652 or email [email protected].

💙 Can’t help this time? Please share this post so we can reach someone who can. Your share could connect us with the barber or donor that changes a child’s first day of school.
