Here are all the details for the Valentine Party on February 13, 2014 at 1 PM

Where: 760 N 1200 West Salt Lake City UT

We will have a Valentine exchange, cakewalk, and various crafts and games.

What to Bring: Valentines to exchange- container for each child exchanging Valentine's

I would like each family to bring either 1/2 dozen of a baked good or treat for the cakewalk OR a healthy snack to share. Please indicate in comments which one you will be bringing.
Depending on space- we may be able to play parachute or other running games and any ideas for fun party type games can be brought with you.

The list of kids for the Valentine exchange is around 50- wow! Does anyone know how I can get that list to those of you who are not on the NJ Thursday group page?

We look forward to meeting all of you!!

It is very lightly sprinkling here, but dark grey clouds, the weather may change either way. We don't mind coming out today and taking a chance with the weather, but could also push the event to next week. How many would like to come today?

We had a lot of fun at yesterday's event. If you were not able to make it, please join us next Thursday, we will be making terrariums! We did decide to meet at a new time, 1:00, instead of 12:00. I will post more details of the event soon!

Just a reminder, that our next event, 'Squid Catapults and Co-Op Planning', is this Thursday. Later this month the group will turn into a private Co-Op. If you think you might be interested in being a part of the group this year, please come this Thursday (or next if not available this week) to check it out. We will be choosing a new name, and planning out some activities for the next few months. You can also click on our past events and photos to get an idea of what the group is like:) We currently have kids ages preschool through high school involved in the group.

Hope you are all enjoying this last beautiful month of summer break! I am going to be scheduling the next event for the first week of September. This event will not only have an activity, but we will also be meeting to discuss the future of the group, as more of a co-op. If you plan on joining us this following year for some more great activities, we would love to have you join us for this meet up. I would love to get feed back, work together to plan a great co-op for the following year, and maybe meet some new people! While the group will remain similar in concept to this last year, I would love to get more parents involved, creating a wider variety of activities, and possibly having a variety of meet-up locations (within Salt Lake), depending on the parent planning the event. If you have never gotten a chance to join us on a Thursday, we would love to meet you!

We will be taking a break for the month of August. We will meet again in September, for the first meeting we will be discussing switching the group into a smaller co-op style group.... stay tuned!
