You love Utah. The red rock. The trails. The big open sky that makes you feel like anything is possible. So do we.
Now imagine what happens when people who love this place sit down together and decide to fight for it.
That’s what volunteering with the Sierra Club Utah Chapter looks like today. Not just getting outside, but getting organized. Joining a team of people like you, people who maybe haven’t done this before, who show up because they care, and who figure it out together. Building campaigns. Planning events. Tabling at farmers markets. Making graphics. Hosting community meetings. Whatever your skills are, there’s a seat at the table.
And the work? It’s real. We’re protecting public lands and standing with Indigenous communities at White Mesa. We’re shutting down coal plants, expanding renewable energy, cleaning up our air and water, and fighting for good climate jobs and a grid that works for every Utah family. And we’re showing up at the Capitol to make sure our voices are in the room where decisions get made.
Three committees. Dozens of volunteers. One movement.
You don’t need a resume. You don’t need experience. You just need to love this place enough to do something about it.
The trails will still be there. Come organize with us so they always will be.
