Grace Lee Boggs is a legendary female activist and organizer from Detroit, MI. She believed that even in devastating circumstances, people can be creative and courageous. Responding in transformative ways that shape outcomes. She taught communities to walk the talk, but not to miss an opportunity for important dialog that allows for new ideas that are necessary to address our reality today.

Powerful Moms Who Care was excited to join in on celebrating Crossroads Urban Center's 60th Anniversary of service in our community. We thank them for recognizing the leadership in our moms and validating their time and effort as volunteers. Congratulations Crossroads!!!! And all the award winners last night!!!!
