We are profoundly grateful for their courage, resilience, and selfless sacrifice are woven into the fabric of our freedom. Today—and every day—we remember, we honor, and we remain grateful.

The Utah Daughters thank you for the countless lives that have been protected and the defense of our nation’s shores.

was honored to dedicate our Liberty Tree in Murray Park as part of the America 250! celebration yesterday. The ceremony commemorated our nation’s history while creating a lasting contribution for our community to enjoy for generations. We express our gratitude to Murray City and all of our partners who helped make this project possible. The tree is expected to grow 20 feet tall and 15 feet wide, bringing beautiful pink cherry blossoms to Murray Park!

Let freedom ring as we honor our nation’s 250th birthday, rejoice in her history, cherish our liberties, and remember the sacrifices of our patriots that gave us the many freedoms we enjoy. Wishing everyone a safe, joyful, and patriotic 250th Independence Day!

We remember the sacrifice of “the longest day.” • “There has never been a military operation remotely approaching the scale and the complexity of D-Day. It involved 176,000 troops, more than 12,000 airplanes, almost 10,000 ships, boats, landing craft, frigates, sloops, and other special combat vessels—all involved in a surprise attack on the heavily fortified north coast of France, to secure a beachhead in the heart of enemy-held territory so that the march to Germany and victory could begin.
