I've listened to more stories of the long lasting effects of people hurting other people than I care to. Although I will keep doing it...because I know the power of sharing your story in safe spaces.

I want to say however, that accountability is powerful. It's JUST AS POWERFUL TO ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY AS IT IS TO RECEIVE VALIDATION.

Engaging in both is freedom and real power.

I want to be that kind of person. If I ever hurt you, in school or otherwise, I apologize sincerely. I won't apologize for boundaries, however if I was cruel or dismissive or hurtful, I am truly sorry.

This is 💯 spot on. Our mental health is in rapid decline BECAUSE WE ARE HAVING NORMAL RESPONSES TO OUR WILDLY UNHESLTHY ENVIROMENTS AND CULTURES, then blaming each other and ourselves for our inability to tolerate a life and world that is vastly unhealthy.
