Thank you, Utah Cancer Specialists, for showing up, for supporting, and for sponsoring the 30th annual Survivors at the Summit, held on July 12 at Brighton Resort. It was a moving day in the mountains, filled with meaningful moments, powerful presence, and plenty of fellowship and joy.
So many of us here at Survivor Wellness are patients and former patients of UCS - your care means so much!! 💛🧡❤️🧡💛

We're still reflecting on the incredible experience at Survivors at the Summit. Maggie Stevenson, a registered nurse at Utah Cancer Specialists, shared this heartfelt reflection:

"Survivors at the Summit is such a beautiful event. Our cancer patients and their families go through the unimaginable, and to get to see them up in the gorgeous Utah mountains, healing themselves through community, nature, and wellness, is just so inspiring."

Thank you to Survivor Wellness for hosting such a meaningful event. We are grateful to be part of a community that supports cancer survivors and their loved ones in so many ways.

Thank you, KSL!

Survivor Wellness, a cancer care community, held its 30th annual event in honor of cancer survivors on Sunday. The event, Survivors at the Summit, was held at Brighton Resort for the third year to help support cancer survivors, to honor those who have had cancer, those with cancer and those who have passed on.

The event started at Snowbird and was held there for 20 years before switching to Brighton Resort. Before that, the tradition began in 1996, when a group of 12 people brought handwritten flags to the summit of Utah's highest peak, Kings Peak.

Survivors at the Summit started as “Expedition Inspiration” in 1996.
Celebrate 30 years of summits as we honor the OG cancer survivors who started it, including the one pictured here on the left.
She said, “We have mountains right here in Utah”, and dared to suggest that the founders of Cancer Wellness House (as Survivor Wellness was originally named) that a 3-day hike to King’s Peak with 12 survivors was even possible.
Well, we did it. And we’ve been doing it for 30 years!
