Last week, we had the wonderful opportunity to attend an event hosted by People Helping People of Utah, where Family Promise was honored to receive an Honorable Mention!

A heartfelt thank you to People Helping People of Utah for everything you do and for creating spaces where nonprofits, businesses, supporters, and community leaders can connect, build relationships, and find new ways to strengthen our community.

This month, Family Promise Salt Lake was honored to be selected by Mountain America Credit Union as the Community Champion as part of the bank's 90th Anniversary Celebration.

We were grateful for the opportunity to spend time at the branch, connect with members of the community, and share our mission of helping families experiencing homelessness achieve lasting independence. Events like these remind us that when businesses invest in their communities, meaningful change happens.

Join us in thanking Granma Kimp's family in the comments! Their incredible tradition has brought comfort, joy, and countless smiles to the children at Family Promise Salt Lake.

For the past 17 years, Grandma Carolyn Kimp, Grandpa, and their grandchildren have gathered for their special GuyGirTime tradition, a time dedicated to making memories together as a family.

Four years ago, they decided to make that tradition even more meaningful by building stuffed bears to donate to the children in our program. What began as a cherished family tradition has become a source of hope and comfort for families experiencing homelessness.

We are truly honored that the Carolyn Kimp's family has welcomed Family Promise Salt Lake into such a special part of their lives. Their generosity reminds us that some of the most meaningful traditions are the ones that lift others up and create lasting memories, not only for our own families, but for our community as well.

Thank you, Carolyn, Grandpa, and the entire family, for sharing your hearts with our children year after year.

A milestone worth celebrating!

Today, we are incredibly proud to celebrate one of our amazing guests as she graduates from high school and takes the next step toward an exciting future.

Graduation represents more than a diploma; it reflects perseverance, determination, and the courage to keep moving forward through life's challenges. Watching her reach this important milestone has been a privilege, and we couldn't be more excited to see where her journey leads next.

At Family Promise Salt Lake, we believe every family deserves the opportunity to build a brighter future, and moments like these remind us why our work matters. Today, we celebrate her success, her resilience, and all the possibilities that lie ahead.
