Our July tune schedule is here!

One of the goals of the AMP Learner’s Jazz Jam is to build a shared jazz repertoire. Over time, we’ll work toward memorizing these tunes so they become part of your musical vocabulary, but there’s no expectation that you’ll know them right away.

Before each session, we encourage you to spend a few minutes listening to the featured tune. If you’d like to practice playing it beforehand, even better—but simply becoming familiar with the melody and overall sound is more than enough to get started.

Join us Tuesdays from 8:00–10:00 PM at AMP Studios (1192 Wilmington Ave., Salt Lake City). Whether you’re new to jazz or looking to become more comfortable in jam sessions, we’d love to have you join us.
