International Jumuiya was honored to welcome Rees Watson, Director of Operations at Deckorators Inc., as a guest speaker at two Buffalo Public Schools: PS 197 Math Science Technology Preparatory School and PS 301 Burgard High School.

Rees shared his journey from high school to college and into his professional career, speaking openly with students about the experiences, challenges, and lessons that helped shape who he is today.

His message to the students was powerful: believe in yourself, know what you want, and don’t be afraid to speak up. When you communicate your goals and dreams, people can better understand how to support you and connect you with opportunities.

Through International Jumuiya, we are committed to connecting students with professionals, mentors, and real-world experiences that expose them to different pathways in education, leadership, and careers.

On September 25, 2026, Mr. Watson will join us at PS 197 – Math Science Technology Preparatory School to share his professional journey, leadership experience, and career insights with students.

It was an honor to welcome Dr. Auma Obama to Glendale Middle School in Salt Lake City, where she inspired students and families to believe in themselves, dream bigger, and recognize the power they already have to make a difference.
