are not observers of the future. They are its architects.

If we want stronger societies, deeper international partnerships, and lasting peace, we must create spaces where young people can learn from one another, challenge stereotypes, and build authentic human connections across cultures and borders.

Empowered youth. Connected world. A better future for all.uz

Uzbekistan: Voices of the Monuments is more than a book of architecture and history. It is a work of Diplomacy of the Heart, giving voice to the stones, domes, streets, and sacred spaces that have carried the spirit of the Silk Roads across centuries.

From the turquoise domes of Samarkand to the historic streets of Bukhara and Khiva, this remarkable work reminds us that monuments are not simply structures of the past. They are living bridges between peoples, cultures, and generations.

In many ways, this book reflects the very essence of Diplomacy of the Heart: building understanding through culture, storytelling, memory, and the recognition of our shared humanity.

The Uzbekistan delegation, headed by Mr. Khayrulla Sattarov, Chairman of the Union of Youth of Uzbekistan, visited Utah and held a series of meetings with Utah business and civic leaders to strengthen economic, educational, and cultural ties between Utah and Uzbekistan.

During their visit, the delegation met with David Stirling, Founding Executive, CEO and Chairman of doTERRA, and Chairman of the Board of the Stirling Foundation. The meeting focused on opportunities for future collaboration, international engagement, youth leadership initiatives, and strengthening Utah–Uzbekistan relations through business, education, and people-to-people diplomacy.

Diplomacy of the Heart Conference 2026
Tashkent, Uzbekistan

An impactful three-day convening that brought together students, scholars, and senior leaders for meaningful exchange and collaboration. The conference opened with a student forum, highlighting youth perspectives, followed by two days of presentations and dialogue featuring professors, rectors, and public officials.

Organized by the Baskerville Institute and partners, and hosted by the Youth Union of Uzbekistan, the conference demonstrated the value of inclusive, cross-sector engagement in advancing thoughtful dialogue and cooperation.

We are especially grateful for this forum as a foundation for continued collaboration. The relationships and conversations fostered here create opportunities to deepen partnerships, support future initiatives, and strengthen mutual understanding across communities and institutions.
