It's Not Too Late to Volunteer for Salt Lake Juneteenth!

Join us on Friday, June 19 and help make the 6th Annual Salt Lake Juneteenth Celebration & Black Business Expo an unforgettable day of community, culture, and celebration.

Volunteer opportunities begin with our morning events at the Utah State Capitol south steps, including community yoga at 9:00 AM and the Community Gathering at 10:00 AM, and continue throughout the festival at The Gateway from noon until dusk.

As a volunteer, you'll receive:
• An official Salt Lake Juneteenth volunteer t-shirt
• Access to our exclusive Volunteer Lounge with water, snacks, and a cool place to recharge throughout the day
• The opportunity to meet amazing people and make a meaningful impact in the community
• A behind-the-scenes experience helping bring one of Utah's largest Juneteenth celebrations to life

We're looking for volunteers for a variety of roles, including:
• Kids' Corner activities
• Black Business Expo support and vendor booth sitters (help vendors take breaks and enjoy the festival)
• Media Team photographers and videographers
• Check-in and guest services
• Concessions and hospitality
• General event support throughout the day

We're happy to promote local photographers, videographers, and media partners and can include your logo in event promotional materials.

This year marks 5 years since Juneteenth was recognized as a federal holiday—a milestone that honors the enduring legacy of freedom, resilience, and progress.

As we celebrate, we also recognize that Juneteenth is more than a date on the calendar. It is a time to reflect, learn, gather, and uplift the stories, culture, and contributions that continue to shape our communities.

Join us as we commemorate this historic occasion and celebrate together.

Join us for the Black Business Expo at Salt Lake Juneteenth
Friday, June 19, 2026 at The Gateway in Salt Lake City

We’re looking for vendors to be part of this powerful day of community, culture, and connection.

Early Bird registration ends May 5
Vendor fees will increase as we get closer to Juneteenth, so be sure to reserve your booth early.

Vendor Discount Available - Get a $25 discount on your booth.
• New vendors can indicate eligibility during registration.
• Returning vendors can receive their discount by completing the vendor survey sent in March - check your email!
