The Pretty Shell Foundation sponsors Clean Start, an initiative to feed, wash, and cloth our homeless brothers and sisters. Our employees (and volunteers!) hand out oatmeal with fruit, hot chocolate, bottled water, clothes, sleeping bags, and tents every Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning in Salt Lake City. In doing so we’ve had the unique opportunity to consistently interact with our homeless co
mmunity. Although they are cold, hungry and often destitute, they are smart, grateful, loyal, and most importantly GOOD. From them we’ve learned the simple and profound truths of life, many of which we all learned as children, which we want to share with as many people as possible. This site will be where we share real experiences and truths from our homeless friends. We will share these lessons through photo with a short write up in order to communicate what we have learned and how important it is to live these principles in order to find happiness in our lives. Our intention is to inspire and to share a reminder of principles that will enhance our happiness and lead to a peaceful life experience.
