Our first time at KECA Expo and what a great time that was! We met some really nice people and we have a few interested in getting a chapter started. If you are in these areas, let us know as there were a few people that are interested in helping a few others start a chapter: Greensburg, Washington, Harrisburg, State Colllege, Erie and in Morgantown, VA.

We had two raffles happen from this expo and the winners are

Erie & Cambridge Counties, yesterday we met with a couple of folks from Cambridge Springs and we are working on starting a chapter of the Mule Deer Foundation in the area. ERIE PA!
Regional Director, Marshall Johnson and Chief Conservation Officer, Steve Belinda, will be in town prior to heading to the KECA event this weekend. Thursday night, we are hoping to meet with a few folks to start a chapter in the area. We will be at the McKean Tavern in McKean, PA at 6pm, but no worries if you get there a bit after as we will be shaking hands and introducing ourselves. Our hearts are with the family, friends, and fellow firefighters mourning the loss of the brave pilot who gave his life while helping battle the Gold Mountain Fire in Colorado.
Fire seasons are becoming increasingly complex and dangerous, and the men and women on the front lines face extraordinary risks to protect lives, homes, businesses, and the public lands that support iconic wildlife and outdoor heritage.
We extend our gratitude to the thousands of wildland firefighters and aviation crews working tirelessly to protect lives, communities, and the landscapes we all cherish. The Mule Deer Foundation salutes our heroes on the ground and in the air.
