🎾🎾A can’t-miss event:

Screening: A special presentation of the Netflix documentary “Who Is Stan Smith?”—delving into the life of the icon whose name is synonymous with one of the most recognizable sneakers in history.

Keynote Speaker: We are honored to welcome Jim Osborne, a Local Tennis Legend, who will be speaking with us in person.

Olympic Medalist: Earned a bronze medal for the United States at the 1968 Mexico City Olympic Games.

Elite Pro Career: Reached World No. 2 in doubles, captured 5 tour titles, and held career wins over greats like Rod Laver and Arthur Ashe.

Collegiate Legend: Became the University of Utah’s first-ever tennis All-American (1965, 1966), battled Arthur Ashe in the NCAA semifinals, and NCAA doubles semi finalist with Mike Martines “Coach Mike”.

Utah Coaching Legacy: Served as the BYU men’s head coach for 15 seasons and spent decades coaching locally to build Utah’s tennis community.

1968 Davis Cup Champion: Won the title as part of the legendary U.S. squad alongside Stan Smith and Arthur Ashe.

Live Zoom Appearance: International Tennis Legend Stan Smith (former World #1) will join us live via Zoom to share his incredible experiences

Special Stories: Listen to first hand stories about Arthur Ashe and the unforgettable 1968 Davis Cup Championship team.
