Food Justice Coalition is offering free prepared meals for individuals and families impacted by the fire. Make your request using the provided form. Meals will be delivered to your preferred address on your selected date/s.

Meals are suitable for vegetarians, vegans, and those with religious food restrictions like pork, beef, and gelatin. This service is 100% free and available from August 5th - 30th.

If you don’t need a meal but can help donate to cover the cost of meals, please see the next slides for donation information.

We’re so excited to invite you to Empanada Fest—a vibrant citywide celebration of culture, creativity, and community centered around one of the world’s most beloved foods. The festival brings together 20 local vendors, live entertainment, and thousands of attendees for a high-energy, family-friendly experience.

We’re especially proud to share that Food Justice Coalition is the only nonprofit participating this year, making this an incredible opportunity to raise funds for our programs! We’ll be selling vegan empanadas starting at $6 and aqua frescas!

Every item you give goes directly into the hands of someone experiencing homelessness. Through our outreach, hygiene kits and essential supplies are distributed in real time to individuals facing homelessness—offering comfort, dignity, and care when it’s needed most.

We need a minimum of 200+ of each item every month to keep showing up consistently.

Scan the QR code to shop our wishlist and send support directly to the community.

Once you open the link, select the item/s you wish to purchase and check out as usual. Your order will be shipped directly to our main office where volunteers will assemble items into individual care kits.

Free Lunch Program dates are live for April!
To apply for the program, go to foodjusticecoalition.org > Services > Free Lunch Program Application

Our Free Lunch Program is an immediate resource for people experiencing food insecurity to have access to fresh, nutrient-dense, prepared meals. Meals are dropped off at the client’s preferred address, within Salt Lake County. Currently, there are no income restrictions to participate in the free lunch program.
Meals are dairy-free, halal, and 100% plant-based.

Nuestro Programa de Almuerzos Gratuitos es un recurso inmediato para que las personas con inseguridad alimentaria tengan acceso a comidas preparadas, frescas y ricas en nutrientes. Las comidas se entregan en la dirección que el cliente prefiera, dentro del Condado de Salt Lake.

Today’s veggie chicken curry with jasmine rice meals went to the following homeless resource centers:

🍛Pamela Atkinson Resource Center
🍛Family Interim Non-Congregate Housing
🍛Medically Vulnerable People

Thank you to our awesome volunteers that helped make hundreds of meals happen today!🙌
