What makes CAEC special? Our volunteers! We had a great turnout at our volunteer open house, but we need more help. Visit our site to sign up as an English or Piano teacher, service day helper, or childcare assistant.

Our Salt Lake center is home to Community Building Services' cultural and dance classes for youth every Saturday. Last Saturday, we had the pleasure of hosting groups from Southeast Asia and Africa as they celebrated the New Year. Watch a few clips of the music and dancing.

Community Building Services is holding a New Year's celebration tomorrow at our center located at 1860 South and 300 East from 12-4pm. There will be music, singing and dancing. Come join us as we celebrate with them.

is an integral part of our center. They teach refugee women marketable sewing skills that helps them achieve a better life for themselves, their families, and their community. They make lifelong friendships that span all cultures. Columbus is a safe place for all people to come and improve their lives. We love Interwoven!

Classes are open to ANYONE who might need them. English classes are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9:30am - 12pm and 6:00pm - 8:30pm. Music and sewing classes are at the same time.

We have church services on Sundays. Kingdom Church of God in Christ meets at 11:00am, and SL Christian meets at 3pm.

We have various cultural events throughout the week and at different times of the year. Come take a class or volunteer! We need all the volunteers we can get!

The Columbus Adult Education Center is honored to provide English services to adults so they may become self-reliant, productive citizens. Classes are free and are open to all religions, ethnicities and nationalities.
